Key Responsibilities:
1. Repair and maintain dies: Fix and maintain molds and dies used in manufacturing processes to ensure smooth operation of machinery.
2. Inspect dies: Evaluate die components for wear, damage, or defects and make necessary repairs or replacements.
3. Troubleshoot issues: Identify and address any problems with dies that may be affecting production quality or efficiency.
4. Modify dies: Make adjustments or alterations to molds and dies as needed to meet production requirements.
5. Collaborate with team: Work closely with other team members, such as machinists and engineers, to ensure die performance meets production needs.
Required Skills and Expectations:
1. I.T.I. certification: Must have completed a relevant I.T.I. course in die fitting to demonstrate understanding of die maintenance and repair.
2. 3-7 years of experience: Solid experience in die fitting within a manufacturing setting to effectively handle die repair and maintenance tasks.
3. Mechanical aptitude: Strong mechanical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues with dies efficiently.
4. Attention to detail: Ability to carefully inspect and assess dies to accurately identify and address any problems.
5. Team player: Capable of working collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain die performance.
